Day 02 - Rishikesh

Day 03 - Rishikesh - Chopta (Night stay at Dugalbitta) (210 kms / 6 - 7hrs)

Early morning attend Yoga activities in ashram later after breakfast drive towards Chopta via Kaudiala, Byasi, Srinagar & Rudraprayag. Enroute visit famous Devprayag (Confluence of River Bhagirathi from Gangotri & River Alaknanda from Badrinath, from where we called river as "Ganga"). Lunch at Srinagar. Arrival Rudraprayag, visit another confluence of river mandakini & Alaknanda later visit Rudranath temple, than proceed to Dugalbitta via Guptkashi & Ukhimath. Check in at hotel, rest day free for personal activities. Dinner & night halt.

Deoprayag, The confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers, Deoprayag, commonly believed as the place of birth of the ganga, is an important pilgrimage, amongst its important temples are Raghunath & Shiva temple.

Rudraprayag, Named after Lord Shiva (Rudra), Rudraprayag is situated at the holy confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers, at a distance of 34 Kms. from Srinagar (Garhwal). The meeting of Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers has a unique beauty of its own and it seems as if two sisters were embracing each other. It is believed that to master the mysteries of music, Narad Muni worshipped Lord Shiva. who appeared in his Rudra Avtaar (incarnation) to bless Narad. The Shiva and jagdamba temples are of great religious importance.

Till recently, Rudraprayag was a part of district Chamoli and Tehri in 1997, the Kedarnath Valley and parts of district Tehri & Pauri were conjoined to from Rudraprayag as new district. The presence of two separate routes for Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham from Rudraprayag render great importance to the place. The entire region is blessed with immense natural beauty, places of religious importance, lakes & glaciers. Ukhimath, This is the winter seat of Lord Kedarnath and worship is done here during the winters when the temples of Kedarnath remain closed. The temples of Ukhimath is at a distance of 41kms. from Rudraprayag & 13kms.from Guptkashi. It is situated at an elevation of 1311mts.

Chopta, Situated on the Gopeshwar- Ukhimath road, about 40kms. from Gopeshwar at an altitude of about 2900mts., Chopta is one of the most picturesque places in the entire Garhwal region. It provides a breathtaking view of the Himalayan ranges and surrounding areas.

Day 04 - Chopta to Tungnath (5 kms trek/one side) to Chopta

Morning Yoga session followed by breakfast, later 10 kms drive to Chopta, start trek towards Tungnath with packed lunch. Late afternoon back to Chopta from where back to your hotel. Dinner & Night halt.

Tungnath, the highest shrine of Shiva among the Panch Kedar is at an elevation of about 3680 mts. Enroute exotic varieties of rhododendrons, while flowers and shrub like trees can be seen in abundance.

Day 05 - Chopta to Badrinath (160 kms / 5 - 6 hrs)

Morning drive to Badrinath, enroute visit Gopeshwar's Shiva's ancient temple. Later drive to Joshimath. Visit temple of Narsingh & Shankaracharya Math, later heading towards Badrinath Ji via Pandukeshwar (One of the five Badri's). On arrival Badrinath tranfer to your hotel. In the evening visit the shrine, before visiting the temple feel the grace of holy natural hot water sring by diping in it. Back to your hotel for night halt.

Badrinath, one of the 'Four Dhams', is one of the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at an elevation of 3,133 mts., guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a splendid back-drop. This revered spot was once carpeted with wild berries. Thus the place got the name "Badri van", meaning "forest of berries"

Facing the temple at the bank of Alaknanda river, there is a hot water spring known as "Tapt Kund". A bath in this spring is very refreshing to all travellers. A separate tank is available for ladies. The temple opens every year in the month of April-May and closes for winters in the third week of November. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple of Shri Badrinathji is 5mts. in height, built in the form of a cone with a small cupola of a gilt bull and spire.

Legend dates the temple prior to the Vedic age, though the present temple is believed to have been established by Adi guru shankaracharya. The temple has been renovated several time due to earlier damages by avalanches and look modern now with a colourful "Singh Dwara" or the main entrance gate. The temple has three parts - Garbha Grih ( The Sanctum Sanctorum), Drashan Mandap ( for pujas) and Sabha Mandap ( for devotees to assemble).

Day 06 - Badrinath to Neelkanth Base (10 kms trek) to Camps

Morning after meditation session & Breakfast start your trek (03 kms) towards Neelkanth Base via visiting Charan Paduka of Lord Vishnu (Foot prints of Lord Vishnu) engraved on one big stone. One can feel the peace and bliss of nature in the meadows spread all over here. This place is called the ideal place for meditation, declared by some of our great Rishis who did a years long penance in this area. Packed lunch will be served enroute. Check in at Camps after touching the serene beauty of Himalayas. One can feel the mighty Neel Kanth Peak close to him. Meditation session in evening followed by Camp fire & Dinner. Overnight stay in Camps.

Neelkanth, A pyramidal shaped snowy peak ( 6,600mts.) towering above Badrinath presents a dramatic sight. It is popularly known as the 'Garhwal Queen'

Day 07 - Neelkanth Base

Day free for Yoga Meditaion and other activities.

Day 08 - Badrinath

After breakfast & others trek back to Badrinath. Check in at hotel. Day free for rest & others. Night halt.

Day 09 - Badrinath to Mana to Vasudhara Fall to Badrinath

Day at leisure or drive to Mana (3 kms) followed by small trek of 2 kms that can take us to Ganesh Gufa & Vyas Gufa. (This is the place where Bhagwat Puran (Holy Book) was written by Ganesha himself. Later visit Bhim Pul {( is said Bhima, one of the Hero of Mahabharata, put this stone to cross the river while going towards Satopanth (To heaven)} where one can also witness River Saraswati, which merge with river Alaknanda. If wish one can visit Vasudhara Fall which is 6 kms from Bhimpul. This roaring fall, falls from 100 ft. height and is said that only pure hearted person can feel its drop on him even standing far from it. Packed lunch will be served enroute. Afternoon trek back to Mana, later drive back to your hotel for night halt.

Mana Village :
Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet.

Vasudhara :
As the name suggests, vasundhara is a magnificent water fall

Bhim Pul :
On the other side of Mana village, a massive rock forming a natural bridge, lies over the roaring Saraswati river. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers

Day 10 - Badrinath to Rudraprayag (160 kms / 5 - 6hrs)

After morning Darshan and meditation session drive back to Rudraprayag. Check in at hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 11 - Rudraprayag to Rishikesh (135 kms / 4- 5hrs)

Morning after routine Yoga & meditation followed by breakfast drive back to Rishikesh. Check in at Ashram. Night halt.

Day 12 - Rishikesh to Transfer to Haridwar Rly. Stn. to Delhi

Morning at 5.00 transfer to Railway Station, hardwar to catch train back to Delhi. END OF OUR SERVICES.

Day 03 - Rishikesh - Joshimath (250 kms / 7- 8 hrs)

After morning session drive to Joshimath via Devprayag, Srinagr & Rudraprayag. Check in at hotel. In the evening visit temple of Nar Sigh & Shankaracharya Math. Back to your hotel for night halt.

Joshimath, Adi Guru Shankaracharya, who came all the way from Kerels in the 8th Centuary A.D, perform penance under a tree here and after getting enlightenment, established a Marh (religious centre), known as "Joshimath". The name Joshimath is derived from it. Temple of Narsingh and Nav Durga are located here.

Joshimath is situated on the slopes above the confluence of Alaknanda and Dhauliganga. Of the four 'Maths' established by Adi Shankaracharya, Joshimath is in the Badrinath to Joshimath and installed in the temple for people to worship. There are many temples in the township most important is the temple of Nir Singh in commotion of Lord Vishnu. The left arm of this deity is with time and the popular belief holds that the day the the arm completely withers Badrinath valley will cease to exist and the Gods will transfer the residence into the neighboring Niti Valley at Bhavishya Badri

Day 04 - Auli

Morning after breakfast transfer to Auli by Ropeway (3.9 kms long / 22 min). Check in at hotel. Rest day free to explore local area. Dinner & Night halt.

The breathtakingly beautiful mountain resort to Auli is cradled in the lap of the snow-capped peaks of Garhwal Himalayas in the Chamoli District. It is situated close to the holy shrine of Badrinath.

Auli is located at an altitude of 2500-3050 metres above sea level, and offers a panoramic view of Mt. Nanda Devi, Mana Parvat, Dunagiri, Beethartoli, Nilkanth, Hathi Parbat, Ghori Parbat, Narparbat and Kamet. The snow dressed slopes of Auli are covered with evergreen conifers and oak forests.

Once the training grounds for India's Paramilitary forces, the rugged terrain is considered the ultimate test of nerves and skills by skiers all over the world. The potential of Auli was adjudged by French and Austrian experts under the aegis of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, who compared it with the best skiing grounds of the world, and rated it as one of the best. Auli is today a promising ski spot, a perfect health resort and an ideal vacation resort, both for the winter and summers.

Auli is a famous venue for winter sports. Apart from the skiing festivals being held here since 1986, Auli plays host for the National Championships, held under the aegis of the Winter Games Federation of India, with technical and other backup assistance provided by various governmental and non-governmental agencies.

A much sought after tourist resort even in summers, Auli attracts hundreds of tourists from India and abroad to savour the panoramic view of the Himalayan ranges, to catch a lungful of fresh and unpolluted mountain air or simply to have some fun amidst the unspoilt frozen stretches.

Day 05 - Auli to Ghorson Base (6 kms trek/one side) to Camps

Morning after yoga session in the lap of nature, proceed towards Ghorson Base through tree lines. Check in at Camps. Rest day free to explore local area. Night halt in camps.

Day 06 - Ghorson Base to Tali (10 kms trek) to Camps

Morning after breakfast start trek to Tali with packed lunch. Rest day at leisure or explore the local surroundings. Check in at Camps. Dinner & night halt.

Day 07 - Tali to Lord Curzon Trail (Kuari Pass) trek 13 kms to Camps

A significant day that everybody will look forward to. Gaze at exhilerating views of the Garhwal and Kumaon Himalayan ranges. Overnight in tents.

Day 08 - Day at leisure Camps

Lord Curzon made the trek to Kauri Pass, and since then it has come to be known as Curzon's trail. It is very popular among European and American travelers. In 1905, Lord Curzon reached Kuari Pass from Ghat via Ramni. Today many trekkers prefer to undertake the trek in the reverse direction. The main attraction of Curzon's trail is the majestic view of the twin peaks of Nanda Devi, Kamet, Dronagiri and Hathi-ghodi Parvat.

Day 09 - Kuari Pass to Khullara (06 kms trek) to Camps

Trek back to Khullara or to Bagarbudha. Check in camps. Night halt

Day 10 - Khullara to Tapovan (14 kms trek) to Joshimath

Morning start down trek to Tapovan (Hot water springs) with packed lunch, later drive back to Joshimath. Overnight in hotel

Day 11 - Rudraprayag to Rishikesh (135 kms / 4-5hrs)

Guptkashi, has a great importance quite like of Kashi. The ancient Vishwanath temple, Ardhnareshwar temple and Manikarnik Kund, where the two streams of Ganga and Yamuna are believed to meet, are the main places of attraction in Guptkashi.

It is believed that after the battle of Mahabharat, the Pandavas wanted to meet Lord Shiva and seek his blessings. But Lord Shiva evaded from Guptkashi to Kedarnath as He did not want to meet the Pandavas, the reason being that although they had fought for the right cause, they were also responsible for destroying their own dynasty.

Guptkashi is situated at an elevation of 1319 mts. The one Stupa is situated in Nala which is quite close to Ukhimath. Some local people call it the grave of Rana Nal. 3 Kms. from Guptkashi, the remains of Ramgarh (in Ronitpur) still seem to echo the love between Lord Krishna's son Anniruddha and Vanasur's daughter Usha.

Day 05 - Guptkashi to Kedarnath (14 kms trek)

Morning after breakfast drive to Gaurikund, after holy dip in hot water spring kund start trek to Kedarnath Ji. (14 kms / one side). Trek start to Kedarnath. It is situated at the height of 3584 mts. A magnificent temple was built by the Pandavas at the base of Kedarnath Peak's south- eastern face. Millions of Pilgrims come to offer their prayers to Lord ShivaArrival Kedarnath traner to your hotel. later in the evening view evenign Aarti at main temple. Day 06 - Kedarnath

Kedarnath Temple, An imposing sight, standing in the middle of a wide plateau surrounded by lofty snow covered peaks. The present temple, built in 8th century A.D. by Adi Shankaracharya, stands adjacent to the site of an earlier temple built by the Pandavas. The inner walls of the assembly hall are decorated with figures of various deities and scenes from mythology. Outside the temple door a large statue of the Nandi Bull stands as guard.

Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the exquisitely architecture Kedarnath temple is considered to be more than 1000 years old. Built of extremely large, heavy and evenly cut gray slabs of stones, it evokes wonder as to how these heavy slabs had been handled in the earlier days. The temple has a "Garbha Griha" for worship and a Mandap, apt for assemblies of pilgrims and visitors. A conical rock formation inside the temple is worshipped as Lord Shiva in his Sadashiva form

Shankaracharya Samadhi, The Samadhi of Adi Guru Shankaracharya is located just behind the Kedarnath temple. It is said that after establishing four sacred Dhams in India, he went into his samadhi at an early age of 32 years. /p>

Day 07 - Kedarnath to Gandhi Sarovar or Chorbari to Kedarnath

Only 2 km trek away from Kedarnath. Floating-ice on the crystal clear waters of the lake fascinates the visitors.

Day 08 - Kedarnath to VasukiTal to Camps

Trek to Vasuki Tal, at a height of 4135 mts., the lake is surrounded by high mountains and offers an excellent view of the Chaukhamba peaks. Check in Camps

Day 09 - Vasuki Tal to Kedarnath to Hotel

Trek back to Kedarnath. Overnight stay in camps.

Day 10 - Kedarnath to Rudraprayag

Trek back to Gaurikund from Kedarnath, later drive back to Rudraprayag via Guptkashi. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 11 - Rudraprayag to Rishikesh (135 kms / 4-5hrs)

Day 03 - Rishikesh - Gangotri

After yoga session & breakfast drive to Gangotri ( This sacred shrine, situated at an altitude of 3200 mt is the source of the river Bhagirathi) via Uttarkashi & Harsil. Enroute visit Ganganani for a dip in hot water kund. Check in Hotel. In the evening visit main shrine of Gangotri and other places of interest. Dinner & night halt.

The shrine of Gangotri is situated at an elevation of 3048 mts. amidst captivating surroundings. Gangotri is located at an distance of 99 Kms. from Uttarkashi. The temple, constructed by the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th century, is situated on the left bank of Bhagirathi. It is visited by lakhs of pilgrims every year. A number of Ashrams are located on the other side, some of which provide accommodation facilities to the visitors

Day 04 - Gangotri

Morning we shall move along the tree line for yoga session in the beautiful surroundings of Gangotri. After yoga session back to your hotel for rest & lunch. In the evening attend Ganga Aarti at main temple. Dinner & night halt.

Day 05 - Gangotri

Activities as above.

Day 06 - Gangotri to Bhojbasa (14 kms trek) to Camps

Morning after breakfast start trek towards Bhojbasa. From Gangotri move along the beaten track towards Chirbasa, which is on the treeline. From here we get a clear view of the Bhagirathi Peak. Beyond Chirbasa the terrain becomes really desolate and barren. Infect, it has been referred to as the Arctic Tundra by many trekkers. From Chirbasa we reach Bhojwasa. Dinner and overnight in camps.

 

Day 07 - Bhojbasa to Gaumukh to Tapovan to Camps

Only 2 km trek away from Kedarnath. Floating-ice on the crystal clear waters of the lake fascinates the visitors.

Day 08 - Day at leisure Camps

Day free for Yoga and other activities.

Day 09 - Tapovan to Chirbasa (14 kms trek) to Camps

Morning after breakfast trek back to Chirbasa with packed lunch. Night halt in camps.

Day 10 - Chirbasa to Gangotri to Uttarkashi

After usual routine we again trek down to Gangotri and after lunch your vehicle will take you to Uttarkashi. Check in at hotel. In the evening visit Vishwanath temple & others later back to your hotel for Night halt.

99 Kms. from Gangotri, Uttarkashi is an important pilgrimage centre, equated with Varanasi or Kashi in divinity. It is located in a wide stretch of a valley. Situated at a distance of 145 Kms. from Rishikesh, the last rail head and at an elevation of 1158 mts. on the bank of river Bhagirathi, this picturesque town is also the district headquarter. From the religious point of view as well, it is considered important because the temple of Lord Vishwanath, is located here where a massive iron trident is erected. Description about this temple is given '' Kedar Khand'' (Skand-Puran). The other important temples situated here are Ekadash Rudra, Bhairav and Gyaneshwar. The temple of Goddess Kuteti Devi is situated at the top of hill about 1.5 Kms. away.

The Nehru Institute of Mountaineering is also located on a hill above the town, 5 Kms. away. Close by at Ujeli are a number of ashrams and temples. Every year on the occasion of ''Magh Mela'' ( January 14), people from far and near visit Uttarkashi to take a holy dip in Bhagirathi along with the idol of their local deities.

Day 11 - Uttarkashi to Rishikesh

Morning after routine Yoga & meditation followed by breakfast drive back to Rishikesh. Check in at Ashram. Night halt.

Day 12 - Rishikesh to Transfer to Hardwar Rly. Stn. to Delhi
