Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ), Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre.
Drive to Agra, visit city and Tajmahal. Afternoon visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father.
Tansfer to rail-station to board overnight train to Gonda.
Arrive Gonda, drive to Sravasti, check in at hotel Nikko
Sravasti, the capital of the ancient Kingdom of Kosala, has the honour for shjeltering Budhha for 24 rainy seasons in the jetvana gardens. The city believed to be founded by the mythological king sravast, the age-old stupas, majestic monasteries and several temples. Buddha is said to have performed some miracles here. This holy place also has the famous Anand Bodhi tree, an offspring of the one, said to have benn planted by buddha's main disciple Anand.
Drive to Lumbini, check in at hotel Nirvana.
In the village of Lumbini in Nepal, the Queen Mahamaya gave birth to Prince Siddhartha who later became the Buddha. Over 2000 years ago the Emperor Ashoka set up a commemorative pillar here. The pillar carries the inscription -Here the Buddha was born-. Another shrine preserves an ancient image depicting the nativity of the Lord.
Drive to Kushinagar, check in at hotel Nikko
Kushinagar, (Kushinara of Yore ) is a revered place for Buddhist pilgrims , 55 kms away from Gorakhpur . It was here theat the Tathagata, the reciterof truth, breathed his last with the last words, "behold now , breathren, I exhort you, saying, decay is inherent ai all component things! Work out you your salvation with deligence! A temple dedicted to event - the Mahaparinirvana temple today stands amidst a serene `sal` grove........as id still reminiscing the great demise. The huge Status of the Reclining Buddha, excavated in 1876 at the temple, is one of the most momenotour of all sights for the devout. It was brought from Mathura by a devout monk , haribala, during the regn of king Kumara Gupta in the 5th Century A.D.
The Whole of Kushinagar since the Mahaparinirvana of Gautam Buddha, was turned into a memorial site with stupas including the relic stupa-Mukutbandhana and Gupta period Chaitayas and Viharas, Built by the devout kings. The Chinese travellers Fa Hien Tsang and T.Ising visited Kushinagar during different centuries and recorded a graphic account of the place which later fell to bad times, due to lack of patronage. These recording provided the vital clues for excavations done centuries later by Sir Alexander Cunningham.
The visiting site of kushinagar Fall in three categories. The Mahaparinirvana Temple, commemoratin the place of the great decease with a reclining statue of Lord budhha : Mata Kunwar Shrine contains a 10th century blue schist image of buddha and: RambharStupa, Which is supposedly the spot where Lord Buddha was cremated and his relics divided into eight equal parts.
Apart from this, a Chinese Temple , a Buddhist Temple , a Tibetan temple and the Indo-Japan-Srilanka Buddhist Centre hold significant religious value for pilgrims.

Early morning boat excursion on the river Ganges, a ferry pilgrimage from ghat to ghat. People bathe early in the morning to offer the prayers to the rising sun. The two cremation ghats are Manikarnika & Harishchandra where funeral pyre burns day and night. Every pious Hindu believes that to die in Kashi and to be cremated on banks of the Ganges is to attain release from the cycle of birth and death.
Afternoon visit Sarnath the buried Buddhist city where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon, Sarnath was a renowned school of learning from 6th century B.C. to 12th century AD. Visit the ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist temple and the Museum (Museum closed on Fridays).
Drive to Bodhgaya, check in at hotel Nikko
Bodhgaya is one of the most sacred place for Buddhists & Hindus and has a number of Buddhist temples. It is here, under the Maha Bodhi tree, Lord Buddha attained enlightment. Also visit the Nalanda University, once a prominent seat of learning; Rajgir, whose hills are known for a large number of Buddhists and Jain monuments; Pawapuri, where Mahavira, the founder of Jainism, attained enlightment.
Drive to Patan to board overnight train to Delhi.

Drive to Patna enroute visiitng Vaishali, check in at Hotel Ashok.
Vaishali, belived to be the first republic of the world, having and elected body of representative hold special significance for buddhist devotees. At Kolhua, Lord buddha delivered his last sermon, Hinting at his impending departure from the mortal world. Later, Emperor Ashok erectd a huge pillar to commemorate the spote of the last sermon.
Vaishali was also the centre of the 11nd Buddhist Council congregation, held after 100 years of Buddha`s Parinirvana to discuss to tem points of Vanaya, the rule of conduct under dispute. At the the excavated aerchaeological site of Raja Vishal Ka Garh is an ancient parliament house, which indicates that this republic flourished in the 6th Century B.C .Vaishali is famous for Amrapali, the beautiful dancer and courtesan of Vaishali, Who offered Buddha a Mango orchard and impressed by his teachings bacame a nun ( Bhikshu) in turn The excavation carried out in Vaishali have brought to light Buddha Stupa I (4th Century B.C.) and II, Built in brick with a casket containing part of the ashes of buddha . Other sites of historical importance in Vashali include Chaumukhi Mahadeva, a lingam ccarved with four faces of Lord Shiva : the bhawan Pushkar Temple, where a large number of Hindu deities are enshrined at one place and are worshipped together: Coronation tank where the Lichhavi King were anointed before being crowned crowned and : the Vaishali Museum which was a small collection of regional handicrafts . also worth avisit is Kundupur, 4kms from here which is the birth place of Lord Mahavira( 6th Century B.C) Who spent 22 years of his initial years here.
